About The Role:
This is a great opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to deliver innovative solutions at scale and influence core architectures, with a focus on our Data products. There are significant untapped business opportunities in our world-class platform and we’re looking for a candidate with a track record of building large-scale end to end solutions.
Here’s What You’ll be Doing:
- Working on cutting edge programmatic ad tech systems and tools that handle hundreds of billions of transactions every day and allow our partners to easily interact with our exchange
- Designing, writing, and testing robust and reliable code in an agile environment
- Collaborating closely with Product Management and Data Engineering teams to deeply understand the domain and develop solutions
- Fostering a collaborative environment by bringing people together to come up with better designs and approaches to complex problems
- Suggesting, promoting and implementing improvements to coding standards and practices
Here's What You Need:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience as a software engineer. Our codebase runs on GoLang, but we are happy to talk to engineers who are proficient in any open source technology and willing to learn.
- Positive attitude and ability to learn (new technologies, new ways to work)
- A team-oriented mindset and the ability to embrace change
- Excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to think differently, and an understanding that compromise, negotiation, and practicality are important qualities
- Experience working with data products: data APIs and data reporting
- Understanding and hands on experience with all aspects of developing end-to-end web applications and microservices. This includes architecting, coding, debugging, optimizing/refactoring, automated testing, and deploying of APIs
- General computer science / engineering knowledge: Algorithms, design patterns, software architecture, etc.
