As the VP of Brand Marketing, you will be the visionary and executor of how Index Exchange shows up in the world. Here’s What You’ll be Doing:
Leadership:
- Lead, inspire, and mentor a multidisciplinary team of brand marketers, content creators, and designers, fostering a culture of creativity, empathy, collaboration, and accountability.
- Build a team environment where high standards are a shared commitment and new ideas are celebrated.
- Work across departments at all levels to understand the needs and outcomes of internal stakeholders, and deliver against our collective goals with a collaborative mindset.
Brand Leadership:
- Craft and execute a transformative brand strategy that defines and amplifies Index’s presence in a competitive marketplace.
- Serve as the steward of our brand identity, ensuring its consistency and relevance across all touchpoints.
Creative Excellence:
- Drive exceptional visual storytelling and design, ensuring every asset reflects the highest quality standards.
- Oversee creative production and design, elevating the aesthetic and emotional impact of Index’s brand presence.
Content Strategy & Development:
- Architect and oversee a bold, cohesive content strategy that aligns with business goals and drives engagement across customers, partners, and employees.
- Bring clarity and creativity to our messaging, ensuring that every written word speaks powerfully to our audiences.
Brand Voice & Tone:
- Cultivate and maintain a distinctive, memorable brand voice that reflects our values and differentiates us in the market.
- Ensure consistency in how we communicate across all channels, from social media to events to internal messaging.
Employer Brand:
- Partner with people and talent teams to position Index as an employer of choice, showcasing our values and fostering pride in our brand.
- Highlight the unique aspects of our culture to attract and retain top talent.
Experiential Marketing:
- Lead the creation of memorable events and experiences that bring the Index brand to life in innovative and impactful ways.
- Set a high bar for execution, ensuring every event reflects our brand promise and leaves a lasting impression.
Standards of Excellence:
- Ensure all content, visuals, and experiences adhere to brand guidelines, with rigorous attention to detail.
- Act as the final checkpoint for quality, ensuring everything we produce meets or exceeds expectations.
Innovation and Optimization:
- Continuously identify emerging trends, technologies, and opportunities to keep Index at the forefront of marketing innovation.
- Use data and insights to refine programs, improve processes, and deliver measurable impact.
Budget Management:
- Plan, manage, and optimize budgets to ensure efficient use of resources while delivering on objectives.
Here's What You Need:
- Leadership Excellence: Proven ability to lead and inspire high-performing teams, creating an environment where collaboration, accountability, and innovation thrive.
- Strategic Vision: Experience crafting and evolving a brand’s identity in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, particularly in B2B technology (ad tech, SaaS, or programmatic experience is a plus).
- Uncompromising Standards: A sharp eye for detail and a passion for quality, ensuring every piece of work reflects the highest standards.
- Creative and Analytical Balance: Ability to blend creative thinking with data-driven decision-making to achieve meaningful results.
- Storytelling Mastery: Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with a talent for crafting compelling narratives across formats.
- Trend Awareness: A constant student of marketing trends and innovations, with the ability to translate them into actionable strategies.
- Content and Social Expertise: Deep understanding of content creation, strategy, and social media marketing tailored for B2B audiences.
- Cross-Team Collaboration and Influence. Ability to work across departments through all levels of the organization, from the executive team to all employees.
The base salary for this role is 250,000 to 315,000 USD. The total compensation package may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills and experience.
