What We’re Looking For:

Index Exchange is looking for a Senior Product Manager to help shape the future of our Marketplaces platform. Index Exchange Marketplaces is an omnichannel supply curation platform, aimed at helping partners transact more efficiently via Index’s robust supply footprint and advanced, modern infrastructure. You’ll be building functionality across targeting, reporting, measurement, insights, and data capabilities to expand the footprint of the overall product offering.

You will work with a cast of highly talented PMs, who have joined us from companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and eBay, to build product roadmaps that will elevate Index Exchange to its next growth level. If being innovative and nimble sounds fun, and you like the idea of squaring off against the ad tech giants with a more interoperable and transparent approach, then this is the role for you!

Here’s What You’ll be Doing:

  • Evolving our Marketplaces platform to flexibly integrate with partners across complex targeting, reporting, insights, identity and data capabilities
  • Identifying opportunities (through partnership with commercial teams, product, engineering, customers, and others) to apply Index’s comparative advantages towards growing and evolving Marketplaces capabilities
  • Setting data-driven success metrics and goals, and leading a well-structured product development process towards achieving those goals on mid- to long-term time horizons
  • Using your best judgment to make the right decisions, even when the data is imperfect; this includes saying “No” to good ideas that simply won’t win, because they’re not great ideas
  • Maintaining a prioritized set of products, features, and bugs in support of a thriving marketplace for digital advertising
  • Collaborating with UX Design, Engineering and Project Management to deliver high-quality products and features on time
  • Coordinating across numerous commercial and go-to-market stakeholders to ensure that products are launched correctly, that they can be measured appropriately, that they can be serviced, and that they meet the business objectives they were designed to achieve
  • Partnering with customer service teams and early adopters to ensure that whatever we build is usable by our clients

Here's What You Need:

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, building products and platform solutions, with significant experience in adtech and technical integrations
  • A proven track record of successful launches and landings (goal attainment), making significant, independent, and end-to-end contributions to large software systems
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, enabling you to go technically deep with engineers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including comfort presenting to executives, large and small working groups
  • Ability to think like a business leader, making the right tradeoffs and need minimal guidance to drive the right decisions for your areas of responsibility
  • Ability to solve complex, technical problems with creative solutions while managing time and cost tradeoffs
  • Skill in forming and expressing opinions with conviction (respectfully), while being able to update or discard your position if someone presents compelling new evidence or rationale
  • Flexibility for some occasional travel
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or Physics is a plus
  • Experience within audience/segmentation data platforms is a major plus

Why You’ll Love Working Here:

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision plans for you and your dependents
  • Paid time off, health days, and personal obligation days plus flexible work schedules
  • Competitive retirement matching plans
  • Equity packages
  • Generous parental leave available to birthing, non-birthing, and adoptive parents
  • Annual well-being allowance plus fitness discounts and group wellness activities
  • Commuter benefits and discounts, where available
